To strengthen the security measures, educating the staffs who are responsible to take part in this very important mission. The following processes are implemented by Myanma Port Authority regarding the ISPS code;
Security trainings are carried out in every 3 months and the purpose is to giving instruction techniques systematically for security training and education, including security measures and procedures in compliance with the ISPS Code.
SHE Guideline (Yellow Book) for Port Worker was promulgated in 2014 with the cooperation of Sustainable Port Development Project (SPD) Program by German Technical Cooperation (GIZ) regarding Safety, Health and Environment (SHE). Myanma Port Authority is monitoring the welfare and wellbeing of the port workers.
